Hello curious person
It's true... I sometimes get confused by the different sections of my business so here's an outline of everything I have to offer and the backstory behind it.
Sam Turner Yoga has expanded much beyond my original dreams when I started teaching yoga. My biggest step in my yoga career was attending a Yoga Nidra teacher training qualification that was a total game changer. It was such a game changer that it lead me, unknowingly, to my niche. Yoga Nidra has become a vital part of Sam Turner Yoga. Ironically, I met with my OG yoga teacher and I still remember telling her that I couldn't possibly do something Yoga Nidra, ever.
I feel there can be am element of confusion around what I offer, especially as I have changed my approach to social media (click here to read that blog post). I try to produce content that covers everything I do but as my time has been occupied recently I feel like it's become a little disjointed. I thought I'd take the opportunity to outline each of the things I offer:
Weekly Yoga Classes
I teach yoga twice a week. Once online, through Zoom, and once in-person, at Northampton School for Boys. All of my classes are about you so if you feel like you're not this or that then say no more. I make it my priority to include options and work with everyone the best I can. Click here to find out more about my weekly yoga classes.
Yoga Nidra
I host monthly Yoga Nidra gatherings. They are currently, as we speak, scheduled in multiple different places. The most popular is my Friday Night Yoga Nidra which happens at Northampton School for Boys. They're an extended practice of 1.5 hours where you get to experience 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra alongside some gentle movement, sankalpa setting and a cup of tea. Yoga Nidra Library
I publish Yoga Nidra recordings for you to practice on demand. This area contains a lot of the scripts I produce for the in-person gatherings that I edit to create different lengths to suit everyone's schedules. Rest is great but I know you don't always have one hour per day to do these kind of things. This is a monthly subscription and you can listen through my website or through an app. Click here to learn more about the Yoga Nidra Library. (Check out other blogs for a cheeky discount code)
YouTube Yoga Nidra
I have started to publish Yoga Nidra on YouTube for people to practise and try for free. These are shorter recording that come the Yoga Nidra Library. Consider my YouTube channel a try before you buy. I'm very proud of the two recordings currently on there and I've had 4.7 watch hours in the last 28 days as I type this. Click here to visit my YouTube channel.
These are the four main categories of my business and, as I mentioned earlier, Yoga Nidra consumes a lot of it. Please do use the link I've included to visit the page and check things out. If you do pop onto my YouTube channel, give me a subscribe!
Thank you so much for taking the time to explore my offerings as a yoga teacher
Sam
