THEME OF THE MONTH
Balance Boost
This month’s theme explores balance through a slow, steady flowing sequence that works the whole body.
We’ll spend time in single-leg shapes, layering in head and eye movements to challenge balance and coordination. Expect a few wobbles, that’s part of it. Balance improves through recovery, not by staying perfectly still, so we’ll use movement of the eyes and head to disrupt things slightly and notice how the body responds.
It’s less about holding the “perfect” position and more about noticing how small changes affect your experience. For me, balance has always been the one thing that hasn’t improved just by doing more of it, which is why we’re taking a slightly different approach here.
Expect a practice that builds awareness, invites curiosity, and offers plenty of options depending on how you’re feeling on the day.
This theme is woven through all of my classes whether you're attending something online, in-person or I'm covering your class.
WHAT TO EXPECT
In my classes, the focus is on creating a supportive and adaptable environment where you can reconnect with yourself. Each session offers an opportunity to move, breathe, and rest in a way that feels right for you, no pressure, no expectations, and no one-size-fits-all approach.
You'll also notice a "theme of the week," weaving intention or focus into our practice to gently guide your experience. But don’t worry, there’s always room for individuality. Rest is always an option, and your comfort is a priority.
Every class ends with a moment of stillness, allowing you to reflect, recharge, or simply enjoy the quiet. My aim is to hold a space where you feel empowered to embrace yoga on your terms.

I see yoga as a toolkit, and this class is all about exploring the different tools it offers. We’ll experiment with pace, style, and props to help you find what works best for you. This space is about discovering what you love, what you like, and even what you don’t because it’s all part of the journey.
Our focus is to experience the joy of movement, breath, and rest in different ways. By exploring various approaches, you’ll gain the confidence to make your own adjustments, ensuring your practice truly serves you in a way that feels right.

YOGA NIDRA
Tuesday 12th May
Online via Zoom or Recording Only
Join me online or in-person for a Yoga Nidra session designed to guide you into deep relaxation and conscious rest. Often called yogic sleep, this practice helps release tension from both body and mind, supporting stress management, improving sleep, and restoring energy levels. From the comfort of your own space, you’ll have the chance to step away from the noise, reconnect with yourself, and give your nervous system the reset it deserves. Whether you're new to Yoga Nidra or a regular practitioner, this online session offers a sanctuary for rest and renewal.
